Good stove

" This stove is well designed and works well for my application. I use it to heat my 850 sq. ft. woodworking shop which is not perfectly well-insulated and it can quickly bring it to 60F even when it is below zero outside. It also can maintain this temperature for 12+ hours if I have finishing projects that are drying. I installed it myself and it worked correctly from the beginning. The controls allow you to fine tune for your location and pellet quality. It is not the prettiest stove so I would not put it in my living room and despite my best efforts at fine-tuning the fire, there is a little more soot build-up on the glass than I expected but it cleans quickly and easily. If you want a little workhorse of a stove this is a good choice. "

Good product for the money

" I received the stove on a pallet freshly repainted and in good general condition. Everything works ok just a little dissapointed with the air tightness. It is supposed to be a high efficency unit and specs say it lasts up to 120 hours on a full hopper. Not true, even set on the lowest heat setting it will still just barely last 12 hours! There are way too many air leaks. I can see why they are selling them as reconditioned, if I paid full price for a new one I would def send back. But for under the money it heats my shop fine. Average consumption of a high grade hardwood pellet is approx a bag a day (40lbs) on low low, on high double it. I did quite a bit of research and would reccomend this for a shop or garage but not a main heating source for a home. "

Pelpro pellet stove

" Purchased this unit in June did not get installed till September. Had problems getting it to light, called Danson's customer service they walked me thru a series of tests, determined it had bad igniter, they sent a new one for me to install. Stove still would not light, talked to customer service, spoke to Roger, he explained how stove works, we found that they must of had a rookie on theline the day this was built, they had siliconed in the back of the igniter tube so it could no pull in room air to light pellets, i removed the silicone and now the stove works great, cycles on and off I purchased the thermostat kit also. Solid stove for price

" Stove came in brand new condition. Stove does not come with faux log as pictured. It did come with the faux brick. Room fan moves more air than my last stove. Compared to other stoves this size, this is a great value. "
