Great Power and Light Weight,
November 20, 2006
By LeeFamily from Derry, NH
"I've been using a name brand Drill but this one is stronger and has more power , It has a great feel & very light weight in comparison. Cost is great for the budget minded; this is the Drill Driver for you. I bought one for my father-in-law because he has arthritis in his hands, this drill has a comfortable grip and is light enough for him to get the tasks done around the house. Balance is outstanding , very easy on the wrist , very powerful with the 19.2 volts."

Kawasaki 19.2v Cordless Drill,
November 2, 2009
By Richard1111 from Everett Washington
"This is an excellent value in cordless drills. I have had one of these for a couple of years and used it through 2 remodels under some demanding conditions. I have recently purchased a second one to use at a vacation home location.
Over the past 25 years I have also owned Hitachi, Porter-Cable and Ryobi cordless drills. While the Porter-Cable was an excellent tool, the replacement cost for a new battery was prohibitive. The replacement batteries for the Kawasaki are about half the cost of those for the Porter-Cable.
I certainly recommend the Kawasaki Cordless; even for frequent and demanding use."

Batteries won't hold charge,
June 11, 2009
"I bought a combo kit with this drill and several other great tools (sawzall, skill saw, flashlight, drill). I was extremely excited at the power and ease of use......at first. After about 6 months the batteries wouldn't charge. I wrote the manufacturer and they won't respond. I bought a different battery charger and they still won't charge.
It's a great drill for about 5 months..."

Good Value - Lack on battery life,
March 23, 2009
By AJJEEP from Cedar Rapids, IA
"This drill was very inexpensive and came with a second battery. Plus plus if you need extra juice at your side. However, the battery life was just average. Had great power on a full battery and lasted through projects without issue, but when the drill sits for a couple/few days - the battery seems to die. Not really a problem cause the second battery is on stand by and fully charged."

A dependable cordless drill,

By SgtJ from Julian California
"I bought two of the drills - the first one was for myself. I bought it because there are a lot of places on my property that do not have electric power and the distance is greater than an extention cord will allow. With 19.2volts it has all the power I need and the work light works great. I bought the second one for my Mother-in-law, because everytime we go to visit she has a project that she wants me to do or something to put together. Before I had to bring my own tools and sometimes I spent most of the time screwing things together. Now that she has her own drill, along with other tools I bought her through Northern, I don't have to worry about having the right tools there. The drill bits that came with the drill are better than I had hoped for, and I am still using them. The second battery is nice to have. I put it on the charger but most of the time the first battery is all I need as the battery holds a charge for a good while. I managed to find a Kawasaki bit and drill kit and together with the drill, it is all I need to visit the mother-in-law. Sgt J"

Kawasaki 19.2V Cordless Drill,
November 20, 2008
By Walt54 from Hanover Park, IL
"Very durable and an excellent buy for the money. Plenty of torque (I used it to build by deck and it had as much power as my 1/4 H.P. corded drill). Good feel (ergonomics) and balance, and not weighty. I like the little add-ons such as the screwdriver bit clip at the bottom, bubble level and white LED work light. Batteries last a decent amount of time before recharging.
My only complaint is, if you overwork it, the battery gets hot and the connection from the batteries to the terminal will burn up and open. I have had this happen to two
of my batteries and it's difficult to reconnect.
I got this drill as part of a tool package that included a circular saw and it is quite durable also ( I accidentily dropped it on concrete a few times from table height with no damage or cracking the plastic parts.)"

Kawasaki 19.2 volt drill,
November 18, 2008
By Homer321 from A farmer in Nebraska.
"I owned the 12 volt version of this drill and was so impressed that for the money I thought that I couldn't lose with this one and I was right! It has done everything my DeWalt has done and at one third the price. The only place that it is inferior to the DeWalt is that when it is not being used for a long period of time ( over thirty days) the battreies tend to lose their charge but when they are fully charged they last just as long as the DeWalts. I would recommend this tool to anyone"
