Custom tow mirror

"I bought a set of these mirrors for my 2011 GMC to tow my pontoon boat. They worked great! They slid on my mirrors easley and did not scratch or mark my mirrors at all. They made it easy to see the back corner of the boat making it easy to change lanes. I tow my boat from Illinois to Wisconsin several times a year. The mirrors make the drive a lot less stressfull."

"I purchased these mirrors to go on our '07 Suburban when we tow our travel trailer and I have to say; I'm quite impressed with they way they look when on the vehicle. At first glance, you don't notice that they are aftermarket or add on's. They function great and they don't get in the way of the factory mirror's remote operations. The only thing I would like is if these towing mirrors were also remote; at least the passenger side because it's difficult to have the DW try to adjust it and not get fingerprints on it. Otherwise, I feel it's a great value for the money."

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors

"I purchased these mirrors because they stated they were made to fit over the factory mirrors on my 2007 Chev. Silverado. I own both the early edition old style Silverado and the new re-designed body style 2007 Chev. Silverado. It appears to me that these mirrors were intended to fit the old style 2007 silverado but the small lip intended to catch the front (Mirror side) top & front (Mirror side) bottom edge of the mirror housing only catches the top edge. The product is moulded improperly and does not catch both top & bottom (mirror side) edges for a secure fit. The Wedge and Bolt with a plastic turn knob designed to stop mirror from sliding off by appling preasure to the back curved part of the truck mirror would probably work great if the product was moulded correctly and actually fit the 2007 Chev. Silverado. I also tried this mirror on the new re-designed 2007 Chev. Silverado and it is to small to even slide over the mirror housing. I needed to use these mirrors a couple days after they arrived. I ended up having to use small ratchet straps and made the shims about 3 times the original size so they would not fly off my truck while driving. I own a Commercial Construction Company and have been very satisfied with the many Tools & Equipment I have purchased from this store. This is the worst product I have ever bought from Northern Tool & Equipment. I hope they actually purchase a set of these mirrors and try to install them on a 2007 Chev. Silverado. Then contact their vendor and let them know what they think of this product."

custom mirrors perfect

"These mirrors are easy to mount whenever I tow my travel trailer, and they match to orginal equipment mirrors so perfectly, no one can tell they are mirror extensions. I wanted something I could put on and take off at a moment's notice and these are perfect. Vision is unimpaired with the custom mirrors mounted, and you can still use the electronic adjustment on the OEM mirrors. A perfect solution for someone who needs mirror extensions when towing a wide trailer, but don't want something "permanent". Excellent product, quickly shipped and highly recommended."

"I purchased a pair of CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors for my 2007 Yukon Denali.
The mirrors fit perfectly, and are easy to install and remove.
The additional reach improved my view significantly, and has made lane changes when towing a 30' Travel Trailer much easier and safer.
Maneuvering while backing up has also been greatly enhanced."

"The only thing I would prefer over my CIPA custom mirrors would be the OEM towing mirrors ... however they would cost over $400 ... the CIPA mirrors get the job done, and IMO are the best choice for a add-on or slip-on mirror."
