Great for beginner

"I used this ratchet in my tool set when I was first getting into the industry. It's the perfect size and has a soft handle which is great. The quick-release is also a plus. For me, it only lasted 6 months before it started slipping teeth, but I used it every day as my primary ratchet and surely exceeded its torque rating a few times. I now use a snap-on which is 10x the price, but I would still recommend this ratchet for professional or home use."

Pretty great little ratchet

"I was in need of a 1/4" ratchet after one I had failed, and a (very) old Snap-On ratchet I had just didn't work all that great. I thought about asking on of the tool guys for a replacement, but there's a Northern across the street so I picked this one up.
So far, I love it. It took a bit of getting used to as the switch is backwards from most ratchets, but that's not a big deal. The socket retention works great, provided the socket or extension you use has provisions for it.
It was loud at first, making an almost whirring noise, but I filled it up with ATF and it became as quiet as a Snap-On ratchet.
I don't see it breaking soon. And if it does, I've got that warranty. I'm now looking forward to trying out some larger ratchets.
