Keyless Entry Deadbolt System

Electronic touchpad programming with manual key override accepts two separate combinations from 2-8 digits and requires no keys. Easy installation does not require special tools. Hardware for wood and metal doors included. Requires 4 AA batteries not included. Maximum Door Width 1 3/4in. Glow in the dark keypad

"We have an autistic son who is very good with numbers so we love this thing. I guess its been at least a year since we purchased this from Northern Tool and still haven't changed the batteries. I watch from the window when my son gets off the school bus and he walks onto the porch and this doesn't even slow him down. He taps in the numbers and walks through. None of us ever use a key anymore. It is made well but, if the day comes that it breaks, I will gladly buy another one."

I recently purchased a home with this same exact keyless deadbolt lock but i was bank owned and sold as is so they did not have the manual on how to change the code. Would you be able to assist me in how i can change the code for this similar product?

"after forgetting keys for the workshop about 250 ft. from my house and having to walk back to the house to get them about 50 times i decided to do something about it. keyless lock saved me a lot of time and footsteps."

"I purchased two of these, one for our home and the other for my garage. We were always fumbling for keys with arms full of packages, etc. when entering the house. I would walk to the garage, find the door locked and the key was back at the house so another trip back and forth. Now those hassels are gone. Walk up to the door, enter your secure code and you are in. No more fumbling for keys, easy entry and even able to set a separate code for our neighbor while we are away. It has worked everytime since installed two months ago. There are NO negatives with this product. I'm going to buy for my backyard shed. Jim K. Avenue, MD"

"We bought one of the keyless locks years ago and put it on the door between the garage and house. It has been great as the years have gone by for our kids when they come home late and can let themselves in without the need to carry house keys at all. Our oldest daughter is now buying a house and we purchased one for a housewarming gift. It's great because you just have to punch in the code and the door unlocks. You do have to replace the batteries every year or so. When the batteries are getting bad then the door doesn't always unlock right away so replace the batteries at that time or you'll lock yourself out or hide one of the keys somewhere so that no one else will find it but you'll know where it is so you can get in."

"Purchased this lock system about 5 years ago after too many lost keys.
Unit was easy to install in an existing door and has worked up to recently flawlessly. Unit began to have a problem retracting/unlocking and I assume plastic gearing is just worn out.
Just purchased a new one and expect the same performance."

"Great deal for the money, might suggest it come in nickel but I just happen to have brass colored hardware on all doors so matched well. Three adult at my house so many coming & going all day which make this a real convenience."

"I installed this on my lake condo. It was easy to install, even with no previous experience. My whole family really likes it. Now we don't need to carry around a lot of keys. It really is nice when you get 1 1/2 hours from home and realize you have forgotten the keys. It is also great when leaving for a short period of time and you don't want to grab your keys. No chance of losing your keys in the lake. Would definately recommend."

"I purchased a home three years ago with this system already installed. It stopped working about a month ago and has been back to keys.
Well needless to say we are all tired of carrying keys, so I just purchased another one and put a rush delivery on it :).

"Works like a charm, I some times go out in the yard without my keys, a couple of times the wind blew the door shut locking me out, so I had an emergency key where only I knew about it, but was all ways worried some one else might find it. With this lock I don't have to worry about getting locked out or losing my keys."

We haven't used the (included) keys since I installed the combination deadbolts.
No more misplaced (or locked in the house) keys.
My (grown) children can get in without having a key. It's a treat for my grandchildren to punch in the numbers.
We recently had some work done on our home and programmed a temporary combination for the contractor to get in amd removed the combination when he was finished.
Although I recently purchased two Keyless Entry Deadbolt Systems, they are actually the fifth and sixth ones I have purchased. I bought two for my own home about 18 months ago and liked them so much I bought a third for another door, so every outside door on my home has them. I bought one last fall for a gift for one of my daughters. The two I just bought were gifts for my mother and sister.
All of them have worked great. I just replaced the batterrries in my front door for the first time, after about 18 months of use and the old batteries still tested good.
Installation isn't much different than a regular deadbolt.
I originally looked at combination keyless deadbolts at a local, big box, home improvement store. I was able to buy two of these from Northern Tool for about the price of one at the box store."
