"Bought this curber in the spring of 2010 because no one rents these machines out. Bought it with 2 other firends. I did 400' of curb, the other friend did 800' and the third friend (has an acreage) did over 2000'. No issues with the curber. More than enough power; just use a 12 gauge extension cord. We dyed the concrete mix and borrowed a stamp from another buddy. End result looks as good as the other neighbors who pay $8 to $12 a foot from the 'professional'. We figured that we paid between $2 to $3 a foot for the material. (plus the cost of the machine and our time). Biggest thing we learned is to keep the concrete mix dry when putting into the machine. Spray a little water on the new curb before finishing. Wait a few days before sealing. We used 1 part cement mixed with 3-4 parts playground type sand. It is hard work curbing but the results were worth it!"

Great machine for starting a business.

"I originally purchased the machine for personal use. After using it on my home, I decided to start a business with this machine. It is cheaper to use than the gasoline machine and less noise. One downfall is the 3/4 hp motor, could use a 1 hp motor. The machine works from a1000 watt inverter and power cord, which is great. I have carried a generator just in case but have not used it for the machine. People like the electric motor because of the noise reduction."
