fast and effortless

"I purchased this cutter for 1/2" rebar. The project was a driverway redo. I broke up 4 slabs (9'x12') with an electric demolition hammer, then poured premix concrete into 72 frames, each lined with crossed 1/2" rebar. After 100 cuts with a hacksaw, I thought there must be a better way to do this. The Northern Tool cutter slices though 1/2" rebar in a couple of seconds. After the 2nd 100 cuts with the cutter tool, I examined the cutter blades and they appeared as sharp as new. Grinding and cutting wheels are just plain dangerous. This tool cuts rebar safely and quickly. It's well worth the price."

"This unit broke only the second time I used it, after fewer than 40 cuts over the life of the unit. Unacceptable."

"We bought 3 of these cutters in a two month period. They worked great for the first few jobs. Everything was fine cutting #4 rebar. All 3 machines were broken and worthless within 2 months. Wow!! I expected them to be a little more durable than this. All were returned to me by our crews looking like new. Obviously something inside the machines was not made with any quality."
